About Conti:
Conti performs the complete lifecycle of construction services from design/build to field installation, training and maintenance for an array of services.
PurposeThe Payroll Administrator will handle all matters that relate to the payment of salaries to the staff. We are a large employer with weekly, biweekly and monthly employees. Must have volume experience with processing payroll.

Essential Job Functions
- Will be the first point of contact for an employee in relation to the time attendance and payroll questions.
- Responsible for collecting, calculating and entering data (both by manual entry and use of various import files).
- Process payroll new hires, terminations/layoffs and other notice of changes.
- Manage direct deposits, benefit withholding, payroll deductions, paid leave, vacation and the monitoring of employee’s hour compliance.
- Prepare monthly union reports.
- Will provide support to the other Accounting Department employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must have prior payroll experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured and efficient manner.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee and company information
Requirements
- 3-5 years prior payroll processing experience, large volume
Essential Physical Abilities
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
Education/Experience
Preferred:
- Union payroll knowledge in union agreements, wage scales, prevailing wage laws, and pension/benefit reporting.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Frequently communicates with employees and customers
