This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and data science, focused on building scalable, reliable, and high-impact data foundations that power Sales and Marketing analytics. You will design and maintain robust data pipelines, transform complex datasets, and develop analytics-ready data models that enable data-driven decision-making across large cross-functional teams. Acting as a key data steward, you will ensure the quality, consistency, and accessibility of data used for business intelligence, reporting, and strategic growth initiatives. The position involves close collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape the organization’s data strategy and tooling ecosystem. You will also contribute to building self-serve analytics capabilities that empower teams across the company. This is a high-ownership role where your work directly influences business performance and data maturity at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead analytics engineering initiatives within the Sales and Marketing domain, ensuring high-quality, scalable data foundations for business intelligence.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing across large-scale datasets.
  • Develop and optimize data models, aggregations, dashboards, and reporting layers to support marketing, advertising, and acquisition strategies.
  • Serve as data steward by improving data architecture, governance, and reliability in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Build internal tools and analytics solutions that enable self-service reporting and streamline data access for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and automation of data workflows using modern orchestration and processing frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development of data visualization tools and dashboards using industry-standard platforms.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and coaching to junior analysts and cross-functional partners.
  • Help define and evolve the long-term data strategy and analytics roadmap for Sales and Marketing.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent PhD-level experience) in analytics engineering, data engineering, or large-scale ETL systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in Spark, Scala, or similar technologies.
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data environments.
  • Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of relational and MPP database design and optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams or working within similar business domains.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively in cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive global benefits program including healthcare coverage and wellness support.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with health spending account options.
  • Mental health support, coaching services, and wellbeing resources.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Income protection programs and financial security benefits.
  • Generous paid time off, including flexible vacation and paid volunteer days.
  • Family-focused benefits including parental leave, family planning, and gender-affirming care support.
  • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Professional development opportunities and tools to support career growth.
