This role plays a pivotal part in enabling data-driven decision-making across global education initiatives by supporting and scaling analytics capabilities for international country teams. You will design and maintain the technical foundations that allow local analysts to access reliable, standardized, and well-governed data across multiple regions. Acting as both a technical lead and strategic enabler, you will strengthen data infrastructure, improve tooling, and ensure consistent analytics practices across diverse international teams. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and in-country stakeholders to build scalable systems that support long-term educational impact. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing across global analyst communities and help resolve complex technical and data challenges. - Own and maintain the Streamlit-based KPI reporting platform, including feature development, maintenance, and prioritization of country-specific requirements.
- Design and implement scalable data systems, secure data environments, and standardized pipelines to support international analytics needs.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data integrity rules and responsible data usage practices across regions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and country teams for analytics planning, reporting frameworks, and delivery alignment.
- Enable and support in-country analytics teams by providing tooling, documentation, training resources, and escalation support for complex issues.
- Build and facilitate a global community of analytics practitioners to promote knowledge sharing, consistency, and best practices.
- Lead cross-cutting analytics initiatives that support multiple countries and inform global strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve data infrastructure and ensure scalable analytics systems.
- Translate technical data concepts into accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders across diverse cultural contexts.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes, tooling, and support models to enhance global scalability.
- 7+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, ideally in edtech, nonprofit, or international environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Experience working with large-scale data systems and building scalable analytics or reporting infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of education data systems and key education metrics such as usage, engagement, and learning outcomes (preferred).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple global priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience working across cultures, time zones, and distributed international teams.
- Strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
