Job Description
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Bolivar Family Care Center in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: Full-time
- Work Shift: Days
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
What Your Day Looks Like: The Bolivar Family Care Center sees patients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries and ailments. Our medical staff provides complete family care, well-baby exams, well-woman exams, Medicare wellness visits, obstetrical care and immunizations. The clinic also provides certified medical exams and drug screens for DOT.
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be:
- Preparing patients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
- Performing examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
- Processing data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
- Assisting medical staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions
- Drawing lab specimens in the lab as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
- Skills: Customer service, communication, examination skills, patient safety, prior experience with CT is preferred, but not required
- Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, bending for prolonged periods of time
