Sonographer - OB/GYN Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Sonographer for our OB/GYN Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: PRN
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: 20 hours every 2 weeks

What Your Day Looks Like: You will be preparing patients for exams, operating sonographic equipment, analyzing images, and collaborating with other healthcare providers and team members to provide caring, individualized treatment to our patients.

As a Sonographer, you will be:

• Interviewing patients to gather medical history
• Explaining the ultrasound process
• Ensuring physical and emotional comfort for patients during exams
• Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations appropriate to patients' ages and treatment plans
• Positioning patients during examinations to assure optimal imaging has been achieved; re-imaging as necessary
• Documenting findings and ensuring images are properly recorded

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program - RDMS certification (Abdomen, OBGYN, and RVT) preferred
• Experience: 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
• Licensure/Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending
