Family Service Counselor in Clarksville, Tennessee at Legacy Memorial Holdings LLC

Position Summary:
The Family Service Counselor will play a key role in helping families make important pre-need and at-need arrangements while supporting our sales team through appointment scheduling, family consultation, and preneed sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm appointments with prospective and existing families.

• Assist families with cemetery and memorial property selections, including preneed planning and at-need arrangements.

• Educate families on products, services, and financing options in a professional and compassionate manner.

• Support the sales team in meeting and exceeding individual and team sales goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales activity and customer interactions.

• Participate in community and marketing events to promote services.

• Uphold company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including OSHA health and safety practices.

• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for families.

Qualifications:

• Prior sales experience is preferred, ideally in cemetery, funeral, insurance, or related industries.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Compassionate and professional approach to serving families during sensitive times.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM systems is a plus.

• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet family needs.
