This role is a field-based, high-impact sales position focused on expanding the presence and performance of aftermarket automotive parts across a defined territory.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with dealerships, repair shops, distributors, and national accounts to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
The position requires extensive face-to-face engagement, combining account management, new business development, and technical product education.
You will act as a key brand ambassador in the field, ensuring consistent visibility and loyalty across all customer segments.

In this role, you will drive territory growth by increasing sales, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding product adoption across automotive dealerships, repair shops, and distributor networks. You will be responsible for both developing new accounts and maintaining strong engagement with existing partners while ensuring effective product positioning in the field.
- Increase sales, penetration, and customer loyalty for aftermarket automotive parts within the assigned territory
- Develop new wholesale accounts through cold calling, networking, and market research
- Conduct regular face-to-face visits with dealerships, repair facilities, and distributors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OE dealerships, national accounts, and independent shops
- Train dealership staff on product features, benefits, and usage best practices
- Consult with dealership leadership to increase product utilization across retail, wholesale, and internal channels
- Coordinate with parts managers to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability
- Use Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools to track all customer interactions and sales activities
- Provide market feedback on product performance, pricing, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales strategies and customer outcomes
This role requires an experienced field sales professional with strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry and a proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships in a territory-based environment. You are highly self-driven, comfortable with frequent travel, and skilled at both account management and new business acquisition.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in aftermarket automotive sales or dealership account management preferred
- Experience working with repair shops, distributors, or OEM dealership networks
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Ability to develop new business through prospecting and cold outreach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, web tools, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Ability to train and influence dealership or shop personnel effectively
- High sense of urgency and strong customer service orientation
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 90%, including overnight travel)
- Competitive base salary starting at $75,000+ CAD (or equivalent market range)
