Job Description

Residential Sales Specialist

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Residential Sales Specialist in Canada.

This is a field-based sales role focused on driving residential and showroom-level product visibility, brand presence, and territory growth across the Greater Montreal and Greater Ottawa markets.
You will play a key role in expanding market share by building strong relationships with kitchen & bath dealers, designers, architects, remodelers, and retail partners.
The position combines consultative sales, merchandising execution, and ongoing client relationship management in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening existing customer partnerships.
A large part of the role involves in-field promotion, sample management, and setting up product displays to support sales growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a hands-on, territory-based role with high autonomy.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and growing residential sales within your assigned territory by building strong relationships with key retail, design, and fabrication partners while actively promoting product visibility and adoption. You will combine field sales execution with marketing support activities to ensure consistent market engagement and revenue growth.

  • Develop new business relationships with kitchen & bath dealers, designers, remodelers, architects, and retail partners
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular visits, communication, and support
  • Drive territory sales growth aligned with business plans and revenue targets
  • Set up and maintain product displays, sample towers, and merchandising materials in client locations
  • Promote solid surface, quartz, and porcelain product lines across assigned markets
  • Identify new sales opportunities and venues to expand brand presence
  • Provide ongoing customer service, product updates, and sample management support
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to support lead conversion and account growth
  • Track activities and customer interactions using standard business tools
  • Support marketing initiatives and field execution strategies within the territory
Requirements

This role requires a motivated field sales professional with experience in the residential building materials or design industry. You are highly independent, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, territory-driven environment that requires frequent travel and strong relationship management skills.

  • 2+ years of sales experience in solid surfaces, quartz, porcelain, or related building materials preferred
  • Experience working with K&B dealers, fabricators, designers, remodelers, or retail home improvement channels
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and territory growth
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader sales team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent travel
  • Ability to travel 60–80% within Canada and occasional overnight travel
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive plan
  • Full Canadian benefits package (medical, dental, and related coverage)
  • Monthly auto allowance and reimbursement for travel expenses
  • Corporate credit card for fuel, tolls, and parking
  • Company-provided technology including laptop and mobile phone
  • Strong training and onboarding program with local support teams
  • Opportunity to work independently with high territory ownership
  • Performance-driven environment with growth potential
