Job Description

Lead Analyst, Reporting and Insights

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Analyst, Reporting and Insights based in the United States.

This is a remote, full-time opportunity focused on turning complex operational data into clear, actionable business insights.
You will build and scale reporting solutions that help leaders understand performance across customer engagement programs, channels, and teams.
The role combines advanced Tableau development, data analysis, visualization, and hands-on work with large operational datasets.
You will translate data into compelling narratives for Director- and VP-level audiences and support high-impact business reviews.
Your insights will help identify performance gaps, emerging risks, customer experience opportunities, and the actions most likely to improve outcomes.
Working across Technology, Operations, and Program teams, you will also help strengthen data quality, accessibility, and reporting standards.
This role is ideal for an analytical, execution-focused professional who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and influencing decisions through data.

Accountabilities
  • Build efficient, scalable reporting tools and dashboards that reduce manual reporting and establish consistent performance metrics across the organization.
  • Design and maintain intuitive Tableau dashboards and visualizations using data from sources such as SQL databases, APIs, AWS, Salesforce, data warehouses, and vendor platforms.
  • Analyze large operational datasets, identify data quality or structural issues, and ensure information is reliable before it is used for decision-making.
  • Investigate performance gaps and root causes, including call drivers, volume changes, resolution inefficiencies, and other operational trends, then translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop forward-looking insights that help leaders anticipate emerging risks, identify opportunities, and improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and team performance.
  • Prepare the insight layer for business reviews with senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended actions.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including Director- and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted analytical resource for reporting and insight requests, proactively identifying opportunities to use data to influence priorities.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, and Program teams to improve data quality, accessibility, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
  • Stay current with reporting technologies and emerging AI-driven tools, experimenting with new solutions that can improve analytics and operational decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional experience working with analytics and reporting technologies such as Tableau, AWS, Python, SQL, and Salesforce.
  • Strong hands-on Tableau expertise, including dashboard design, calculated fields, visualizations, and integration with backend data sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and data warehouses.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis, combined with strong data visualization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and translating quantitative analysis into clear, practical business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes rather than simply reporting results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritization and project-management skills, including the ability to reorganize workflows effectively as urgent or emerging requests arise.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous or undefined situations, with the ability to create structure, establish direction, and move initiatives forward independently.
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on measurable impact and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across Technology, Operations, and Program teams.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and willingness to experiment with and independently adopt new digital and AI-enabled tools.
  • Experience with call center or customer engagement operations is preferred.
  • Relevant Tableau, data analytics, or Salesforce certifications are preferred.
  • Commitment to a mission-driven environment focused on expanding educational and career opportunities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 4–6 times per year for business purposes.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
Benefits
  • Remote-first work environment, with hybrid flexibility available for employees located near designated offices.
  • Full-time employment with opportunities to work on high-impact, mission-driven initiatives.
  • Hiring salary range of $68,000–$105,000, with actual compensation determined by location, experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
  • Annual bonus opportunities and potential merit-based salary increases and promotions.
  • Comprehensive benefits designed to support employees' professional and personal well-being.
  • Opportunities for professional development, learning, mentorship, and career growth.
  • Collaborative and inclusive workplace focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and shared success.
  • Meaningful work supporting improved customer experiences and outcomes across major educational programs and services.
  • Occasional business travel opportunities for in-person collaboration and organizational events.
