Working closely with operational, project, engineering, and quality teams, you will identify skills gaps and build scalable learning programs.
The role combines strategic program leadership with hands-on collaboration across geographically dispersed field teams.

- Develop and execute the organization-wide technical training strategy across applicable US operations, ensuring programs align with business objectives, operational requirements, and career pathways.
- Partner with quality, project, field, engineering, and operational leadership to identify training gaps and establish priorities for workforce development.
- Lead cross-functional training programs that promote consistent technical standards, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Manage and support technical training initiatives across multiple geographic locations, ensuring consistent practices and effective delivery across field operations.
- Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise related to training requirements, industry standards, customer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
- Support regional field leadership in developing and maintaining awareness of technical career paths and progression opportunities.
- Oversee onboarding, certification, and skills-development programs for new and existing employees, including BICSI and customer-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to continuously improve technical career pathways and ensure training programs address identified quality and performance needs.
- Establish, monitor, and report KPIs and other metrics to measure training effectiveness, employee development, compliance, and program performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical training teams across multiple locations, promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Champion a culture of safety, continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with employees and leaders at all organizational levels to support consistent training adoption and workforce development.
- Promote positive workplace practices and organizational values while supporting a collaborative, people-focused culture.
- Travel as required to support regional operations, training programs, field teams, and business needs.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Five or more years of progressively responsible training management leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- 5–10 years of progressively responsible leadership and training management experience within low-voltage, structured cabling, data center construction, or a closely related technical industry.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and field-based operations.
- Strong understanding of BICSI standards, ANSI/TIA codes, electrical and communications best practices, and technical training requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of training frameworks, regulatory standards, technical practices, and workforce development principles.
- BICSI, RCDD, PMP, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling training programs within high-growth, operationally complex, and field-based environments.
- Strong analytical and process-improvement mindset, with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and implement measurable improvements.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior and director-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Project, as well as training management systems.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, standard operating procedures, leadership practices, and coordination of people and resources.
- Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, codes, and government requirements relevant to construction and technical operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools, and practices relevant to data center environments.
- Strong skills in active listening, critical thinking, systems analysis, judgment, decision-making, complex problem-solving, time management, and instruction.
- Clear oral and written communication skills, strong reasoning abilities, and the capacity to identify problems and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and construction environments and meet the physical requirements associated with field operations, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting equipment or materials as required.
