Job Description
The Restaurant Operations Support Coordinator plays a key role in driving operational excellence across designated restaurant locations. This position provides hands-on operational support by evaluating restaurant performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing recommendations that strengthen execution across both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations. The role works closely with restaurant leadership to improve consistency, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance while supporting company initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional operational initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence- Support assigned focus locations to ensure consistent execution of operational standards, company procedures, and brand expectations.
- Evaluate daily restaurant operations and identify opportunities to improve service, quality, cleanliness, food safety, and overall operational performance.
- Provide operational feedback and actionable recommendations to restaurant leadership that strengthen execution and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, health department regulations, and safety standards, recommending corrective actions where appropriate.
- Observe Front of House operations and provide constructive feedback and recommendations to strengthen guest service, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience.
- Evaluate cashier operations, speed of service, order accuracy, and hospitality standards, identifying opportunities to improve consistency and execution.
- Assess staffing deployment and workflow during peak business periods, providing recommendations that improve productivity and guest flow.
- Recommend strategies that strengthen upselling, hospitality, guest engagement, and overall service standards.
- Observe Back of House operations and provide feedback and recommendations that strengthen food quality, production efficiency, portion control, and consistency.
- Evaluate inventory management, food cost controls, and waste reduction practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization standards while providing recommendations that enhance operational excellence.
- Partner with restaurant leadership to identify opportunities that improve kitchen productivity, communication, and operational effectiveness.
- Foster collaboration and communication between Front of House and Back of House teams to improve operational execution.
- Provide observations and recommendations that support leadership development, accountability, and team performance.
- Assist restaurant leaders in identifying opportunities to improve teamwork, communication, and operational consistency.
- Build positive working relationships with restaurant management and team members while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support operational projects, company initiatives, restaurant openings, remodels, process improvements, and system implementations.
- Assist with testing and implementing new operational procedures, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in operational audits, special assignments, investigations, and cross-functional initiatives as directed by Operations leadership.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the business.
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant operations experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant operating systems.
- Ability to travel regularly between assigned restaurant locations.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
