Payroll Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.

The Payroll Coordinator will work as a critical team member in a fast paced and integral payroll group. Provide processing and payroll execution in support of multiple regions within McCarthy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support processing weekly payroll including new hire tax set up and auditing
• Assist in reconciliations for weekly balancing
• Process approximately 1,000 weekly paychecks

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Multi state and multi-company experience preferred.
• Union contracting and payroll processing experience preferred.
• Experience working with union reporting preferred.
• Working knowledge of all functions associated with the complete processing of payroll in a fast paced environment.
• Other payroll duties as required.
• Prioritization, accuracy, organization and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
