We are growing and seeking a fun, hardworking, compassionate, team‑oriented Treatment Coordinator to support our periodontist and help us continue delivering an outstanding experience to our community. Previous dental experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be a key connection point for patients from their first call through treatment completion. You will manage patient communication, coordinate the periodontist’s schedule, and ensure each patient receives a concierge-level experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional service in-person, over the phone, and electronically
- Scheduling appointments and managing the periodontist’s daily schedule for maximum efficiency
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient insurance and demographic information
- Providing treatment cost estimates and collecting patient financial responsibility
- Partnering closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Understanding periodontal treatment recommendations and developing treatment plans from the doctor’s diagnosis
- Clearly explaining treatment options, steps, and costs to patients
- Coordinating communication with referring offices
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Performing other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of customer service experience (medical or dental preferred)
- Understanding of dental terminology (or willingness to learn)
- Friendly, professional, welcoming demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic office and computer skills (typing, filing, digital communication)
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and contribute positively to a team environment
