This role combines sales, estimating, and proactive lead generation. The right candidate will thrive in a position that blends relationship building, technical estimating, and business development — with strong earning potential and opportunities for growth.

What You’ll Be DoingLead Generation & Business GrowthIdentify and develop new project opportunities to grow the sales pipeline

Qualify incoming inquiries and convert them into active opportunities

Proactively pursue leads through networking, outreach, and follow-up

Maintain consistent contact with prospects to move opportunities forward

Sales & Client ManagementBuild and maintain strong client relationships

Present proposals and clearly communicate project value

Upsell and cross-sell services where appropriate

Ensure an excellent client experience from first contact through project start

Estimating & Proposal DevelopmentConduct site visits, take measurements, and scope projects

Develop detailed cost estimates for painting and construction work

Create clear, competitive proposals balancing quality, feasibility, and profitability

Cross-Team CollaborationWork closely with field crews and operations to ensure estimates translate smoothly into executed projects

Provide feedback to marketing and leadership on lead quality and market opportunities

Support seamless transitions from signed contract to project kickoff

What We’re Looking ForExperience / BackgroundProven experience in sales or business development (construction industry experience is a plus but not required)

Estimating or construction experience is helpful but not required — we can train the right person

Ability to understand project scope, materials, and timelines

Attributes & SkillsTenacious and confident pursuing new business opportunities

Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills

Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

Comfortable using CRM systems and estimating software

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

RequirementsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Willingness to travel locally (Eugene to Portland area, occasional coastal projects)

Ability to manage multiple proposals and sales opportunities at once

Compensation & BenefitsOn-Target Earnings: $75,000 – $250,000+ annuallyCompensation is based on a combination of base salary and commission, allowing top performers to significantly increase earnings.
