About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our front desk team as a Patient Services Specialist. This is an entry-level position — no medical office experience required. If you have a background in customer service and a desire to build a career in healthcare, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

You'll be the first face patients see and the first voice they hear. Your professionalism and warmth set the tone for every visit.

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and visitors warmly at check-in and check-out
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect co-pays and patient balances at the time of service
• Obtain required patient signatures and consents
• Assist with basic insurance verification and documentation
• Scan and upload records into our electronic medical record system
• Keep the front desk organized and well-stocked
• Support your teammates during busy clinic periods

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced setting
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in a customer-facing role (healthcare, hospitality, retail, or similar)
• Familiarity with scheduling systems or electronic medical records

We will train the right person — dermatology or medical experience is not required.
