Sleep Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort

- Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients throughout the testing process

- Operate and maintain sleep study equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality

- Collect, analyze, and document sleep data accurately for review by physicians

- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to sleep study equipment

- Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with healthcare standards

- Educate patients on sleep hygiene and post-study care instructions

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Certification as a Sleep Technologist (e.g., RST, RPSGT) is required

- Sleep lab training and experience required

- Strong technical skills and familiarity with sleep study equipment

- Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
