Compliance Solutions Specialist

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Compliance Solutions Specialist in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of AML compliance operations, client enablement, and product evolution within a fast-growing fraud prevention and compliance technology environment. You will help scale a specialized compliance function by bringing structure, consistency, and operational leverage to how clients and internal teams are supported. Drawing on hands-on AML experience, you will translate real-world compliance challenges into scalable processes, documentation, and product improvements. The role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and data science teams, as well as direct engagement with regulated clients. You will also contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance compliance workflows and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who understands the realities of AML operations and wants to help shape the future of compliance technology.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with compliance leadership to scale the AML Compliance Solutions function and build repeatable, structured processes for client and internal support.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in AML compliance, supporting client-facing teams with guidance on regulatory requirements and product capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, including client guides, internal playbooks, implementation resources, and process frameworks.
  • Support client migrations and onboarding initiatives, including mapping legacy AML workflows into modern platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to enhance compliance-related features and explore AI-driven automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to product marketing and educational materials by reviewing and refining compliance-focused content for accuracy and clarity.
  • Support internal enterprise risk and compliance programs, including policy updates, regulatory change management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Help improve operational consistency and scalability across AML workflows by identifying inefficiencies and recommending structured solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AML operations, compliance operations, or related roles within banking, fintech, or regulated environments.
  • Strong experience with core AML processes such as transaction monitoring, alert review, KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, investigations, or suspicious activity reporting.
  • Deep understanding of AML regulatory frameworks and operational compliance requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex compliance concepts into clear documentation, structured processes, and actionable guidance.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain regulatory topics clearly.
  • Strong project management and execution capabilities in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
  • Interest in AI-driven tools and automation to improve compliance efficiency and scalability.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary and equity participation.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment with the ability to work from anywhere.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and dependents (where applicable).
  • Retirement savings support including employer matching programs (region-specific).
  • Flexible paid time off and scheduled year-end break.
  • Home office setup stipend and monthly meal and wellness allowances.
  • Annual learning and development budget to support professional growth.
  • Opportunities to work in a fast-scaling global company at the forefront of compliance innovation.
  • Collaborative, high-performance culture with globally distributed teams.
