Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join the team at our main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: The Rehab Services Department works to promote the restoration of the functional abilities of individuals with physical, cognitive, sensorimotor, and / or perceptual impairment and communication impairment by the use of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and / or speech language therapy treatment.

A typical day includes: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating physical therapy treatments for patients by utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes.

• Identifies patients appropriate for rehabilitative therapies
• Establishes an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Develops and implements treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Communicates effectively with patients, care team members, physicians, and others
• Writes clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Experience: New graduates welcome, 1 year of experience preferred
• Skills: Problem-solving, planning and time-management, interpersonal communication, listening skills, basic computer skills, ability to work independently
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Physical Therapist License
• Physical: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
