Job Description
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join the team at the Community Springs Healthcare Facility in El Dorado Springs, MO — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like: Equipped with specialized technologies, including Balance Master, VitalStim, and Anodyne, the Rehab Services Department works closely with physicians to provide acute and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork, and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90th percentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
As a Speech Therapist, you will be:

Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes

Identifying patients appropriate for rehabilitative therapies

Establishing an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening

Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes

Communicating effectively with patients, care team members, physicians, and others
-
Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Experience: New graduates welcome, 1 year of experience preferred
- Skills: Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbal communication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
- Physical Requirements: Physical stamina to sit for extended periods, walk and move around frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
