Phamacy Technician at Citizens Memorial – Buffalo, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Buffalo, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist our customers at the Buffalo Community Pharmacy. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The CMH Buffalo Community Pharmacy provides convenient prescription and over-the-counter medications to retail customers. Ensuring safe and efficient medication distribution and compliance with all regulatory requirements, pharmacy staff are also committed to providing superior customer service for every customer who walks through the door.

A typical day includes:

• Assures adequate supplies of medications are available
• Prepares and accurately labels medications for dispensing to patients
• Enters insurance information, processes insurance claims, and assists with billing transactions
• Assists pharmacists with communication to patients and providers

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Skills: Customer service, computer skills, and detail-oriented
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
• Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the time

The position is part-time between the hours of 8am-6:30pm and may require travel between Buffalo and Bolivar to cover other pharmacies within the CMH network as needed.
