Description

A qualified Material Handler/Forklift Operator will be able to the perform the following tasks:

• Move and wrap material from bindery and press-room and stack them to assigned places
• Locate material on shipping manifest to load unto outgoing trailers.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production department
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and report any issues to manager
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility

Requirements

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator should meet the following requirements:

• Qualified candidates will be able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours and work weekends as well on an as needed basis.
• Previous experience as a forklift operator
• Safety and Quality minded
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor
• Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Must have positive and effective communication with other team members
