Position Overview:
Order Coordinator is responsible is to prepare and shipping all outbound products, nationally and internationally, accurately, timely, safely, and to meet all state, federal, and international regulations. Figures green loads, dry loads, ensures order specifications are being followed, preforms all duties in Lumber Tracks, supervises load shipments, coordinates trucking, in constant communication with sales and transportation, leads shipping team, runs high lift, paints and bands lumber, makes sure to use ageing inventory. In addition, this position will receive all inbound products and materials and assist in performing inventory duties. Products associated with this facility are hardwood lumber, both domestic and export.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating packing lists, bills of lading, export documents, etc.
- Work with internal inventory and Sales staff to determine product availability and adjust delivery dates based on findings.
- Data entry duties include order processing, generating packing lists, invoices & shipping documents.
- Calculate Weights and Dimensions for proper truck loading.
- Daily scheduling of work assignments for lift operators.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments when needed.
- Scheduling new order ship dates.
- Receiving verification and paperwork.
- Work one on one with team members.
- Any additional duties assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
- Forklift operators training.
- Must be organized, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Must be good at multitasking.
- Knowledge of package appearance and quality.
- Willing to work extra hours if needed.
- Strong skills in the following area:
-Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Written and verbal communications skills
-Interpersonal skills to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and function in a team environment.
