Job Summary

Electric Materials is seeking a dedicated and organized Entry-Level Logistics / Inventory Clerk to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to start a career in logistics and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a tidy and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damage, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Prepare and pack items for outgoing shipments, including weighing, labeling, and creating necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing slips).
• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating our database and conducting periodic stock counts.
• Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Communicate and coordinate with delivery drivers, internal departments, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training will be provided if needed).
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 40 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
