Growth Account Executive - Strategic

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth Account Executive - Strategic based in the United States.

This role is responsible for accelerating revenue growth across a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts within a fast-moving technology environment.
You will build trusted relationships with senior executives while developing account strategies that create long-term customer and commercial value.
The position combines consultative enterprise selling, strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration across complex customer organizations.
You will lead expansion opportunities throughout the sales cycle, including renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and new business development.
Your ability to understand customer challenges and connect them to innovative solutions will directly influence growth and customer outcomes.
You will also translate customer insights into actionable feedback that can shape go-to-market initiatives and future product development.

Accountabilities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts, establishing trusted relationships with executives and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans designed to maximize Total Contract Value and support sustainable customer growth.
  • Lead complex, full-cycle sales and expansion initiatives, including new business acquisition, renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
  • Apply consultative and Challenger Sales methodologies to uncover customer needs, challenge existing approaches, and position solutions around measurable business outcomes.
  • Navigate complex enterprise organizations and build alignment among multiple stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Partner closely with Strategic Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver strong customer experiences and coordinated growth strategies.
  • Listen closely to customers and synthesize strategic feedback into insights that can inform go-to-market priorities and product roadmaps.
  • Build scalable sales playbooks, processes, and account strategies that support ambitious revenue targets and can be replicated across the organization.
  • Deliver compelling executive presentations, business cases, and commercial proposals that communicate value clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong pipeline visibility, manage account priorities effectively, and consistently follow through on strategic commitments.
  • Contribute to broader sales strategy by sharing insights, best practices, and approaches that elevate team and departmental performance.
  • Travel up to 30% as needed for customer meetings, relationship development, and internal strategic alignment.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of managing and expanding strategic accounts; SaaS or technology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex enterprise sales environments across the full sales cycle.
  • Proven experience in consultative solution selling, enterprise negotiations, strategic account management, and executive-level relationship development.
  • Strong ability to create and execute strategic account plans focused on long-term revenue growth and customer value.
  • Experience driving renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and new business opportunities within complex organizations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving, and high-growth environments with a proactive, builder-oriented mindset.
  • Strong customer curiosity and a customer-first approach to identifying and solving complex business challenges.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex customer challenges into compelling business solutions and articulate value to senior decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and align teams around shared customer and revenue objectives.
  • History of contributing beyond individual targets by developing strategies, playbooks, and practices that improve broader team performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities while consistently meeting commitments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings and internal collaboration.
