Job Description

Chief of Staff

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief of Staff based in United States .

This is a high-impact, highly dynamic Chief of Staff opportunity for an ambitious operator who wants to work directly alongside senior leadership and help shape a rapidly evolving organization.
Rather than following a fixed job description, you will tackle complex, high-priority challenges wherever your skills can create the most value.
You will move seamlessly between strategic initiatives, client engagements, business development, operations, fundraising, and organizational growth.
The role offers exceptional exposure to AI transformation, entrepreneurship, investment, and high-growth business environments.
You will be trusted to operate with significant autonomy, identify opportunities before they are assigned, and turn ambiguous problems into concrete outcomes.
An AI-first approach is central to the role, with technology expected to amplify your individual impact and enable you to operate at exceptional scale.
This is an ideal opportunity for a versatile, builder-minded leader who thrives on ownership, pace, and continuous evolution.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems that span functions, clients, and organizational priorities.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, board preparation, investor materials, business development, and other critical priorities.
  • Lead AI transformation projects and help organizations identify and implement practical, secure, scalable, and human-centered AI solutions.
  • Drive fundraising initiatives, investment-related activities, or other financial and strategic projects as required.
  • Support or lead sales, go-to-market, recruiting, and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Manage client projects and delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong alignment with client objectives.
  • Lead data and analytics initiatives that generate measurable value and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Take on entrepreneurial responsibilities, potentially including leadership of a venture studio company or management of senior leaders within client organizations.
  • Move comfortably between strategic work and hands-on execution, including research, coordination, scheduling, problem-solving, and responding to urgent client or business needs.
  • Identify opportunities, inefficiencies, risks, and emerging challenges proactively rather than waiting for direction.
  • Use AI tools extensively in day-to-day work to increase productivity, accelerate analysis, automate processes, and multiply individual output.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence, taking full ownership of priorities and outcomes without requiring constant supervision or structured check-ins.
Requirements
  • 5–7+ years of experience in high-performing environments such as management consulting, venture capital, private equity, business development, startup leadership, or similarly demanding roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous and complex initiatives from concept through execution and deliver tangible results.
  • Strong generalist profile with the versatility to contribute across strategy, operations, finance, technology, client delivery, and business development.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and solve problems without relying on extensive direction or predefined processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable materials for different audiences.
  • Genuine builder mentality with evidence of having created, launched, or shipped something; experience using AI to build a product, tool, automation, agent, or prototype is strongly valued.
  • AI-first mindset and demonstrated ability to use AI as a force multiplier across research, analysis, execution, and decision-making.
  • Low-ego, highly accountable approach with a willingness to take on whatever the situation requires.
  • Strong ethical judgment and commitment to responsible, human-centered business practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; an advanced degree or education from a highly regarded program is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth startups, venture studios, AI, or technology environments is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–25% for offsites, key events, and leadership meetings.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong overlap with EST business hours; candidates in major technology hubs are preferred.
Benefits
  • Remote-friendly working environment with strong flexibility around location and work style.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership, with the opportunity to shape the role as organizational needs evolve.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic decision-making, entrepreneurship, AI transformation, investment, and high-growth business initiatives.
  • Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of challenging projects rather than being confined to a narrow functional remit.
  • Significant opportunity for professional growth and accelerated leadership development.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a productivity and business transformation tool.
  • Potential to take on entrepreneurial and executive-level responsibilities as opportunities emerge.
  • Canadian engagement structure: Independent Contractor.
  • U.S. engagement structure: Full-Time employment.
  • Compensation and additional benefits are determined based on location, engagement structure, experience, and overall fit for the role.
  • Commitment to an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance environment where diverse perspectives and strong contributions are valued.
