This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Alliances Lead, Advisory & Consulting Partners based in the United States.
This is a global strategic alliances role focused on building a selective portfolio of high-value advisory and consulting partnerships.
You will own worldwide relationships, joint business plans, executive alignment, and measurable commercial outcomes.
The role combines partner strategy with hands-on customer engagement, co-selling, and commercialization of frontier technologies.
You will help consulting and systems integration partners develop practical capabilities through real customer opportunities.
Working across quantum computing, networking, security, sensing, space, and merchant services, you will connect technical possibilities with customer needs.
You will coordinate global and regional teams to turn successful engagements into repeatable solutions, playbooks, and revenue opportunities.
The position is remote with a global remit and requires significant domestic and international travel.
- Select and prioritize a focused portfolio of advisory and consulting partners based on customer relevance, executive sponsorship, technical capacity, and willingness to invest in joint opportunities.
- Establish and manage global joint business plans with defined industry priorities, regional objectives, customer targets, partner resources, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Build deep executive relationships with selected consulting firms and systems integrators.
- Personally engage partner practice leaders and account teams in customer discovery, opportunity qualification, business-case development, and commercial pursuits.
- Develop and manage a focused set of lighthouse customer engagements across quantum computing and quantum-safe cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with Field Engineering, Partner Engineering, Platform Sales Specialists, and other technical teams to establish feasible scopes, technical success criteria, dependencies, and growth milestones.
- Lead joint discovery, solution development, negotiation, co-selling, and early customer engagements.
- Build partner confidence and seller capability through hands-on execution, targeted workshops, proposals, training, and live customer pursuits.
- Develop reusable customer success stories, solution patterns, and sales playbooks based on validated engagement outcomes.
- Mobilize partner headquarters, global executive sponsors, practices, commercial frameworks, and resources to support regional opportunities.
- Work with regional partner and sales leads to map named accounts, local practices, pursuit ownership, pipeline, and shared account plans.
- Establish regular global-regional opportunity reviews focused on customer outcomes, pipeline progression, and deal execution.
- Use regional customer evidence to refine global offerings and replicate successful approaches across partner practices and markets.
- Lead alliance commercial frameworks and coordinate joint investments with Legal and Finance.
- Maintain qualified partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, forecasts, opportunity attribution, and commercial reporting.
- Secure customer-approved references and document delivery lessons, partner economics, and repeatable approaches.
- Collaborate with Programs and Marketing to transform successful lighthouse engagements into scalable tools, playbooks, and go-to-market approaches.
- Expand into additional accounts, practices, or partners when customer value, partner commitment, delivery capacity, and commercial repeatability have been demonstrated.
- Track alliance performance through pipeline, revenue, conversion, forecast accuracy, partner productivity, customer outcomes, time to first win, and evidence of replication.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic alliances, including ownership of complex relationships with advisory or consulting firms.
- Established credibility with senior consulting practice leaders, industry executives, and strategic partner stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of consulting economics and the ability to translate advisory influence into tangible joint commercial opportunities.
- Proven experience developing focused, early-stage partnerships into scalable channels that generate sustained revenue growth.
- Demonstrated commercial experience in frontier technologies or other emerging technology categories.
- Ability to translate evolving technology capabilities, uncertain roadmaps, and customer requirements into credible, staged adoption strategies.
- Track record of personally developing and co-selling early customer engagements from discovery and qualification through solution development, negotiation, and close.
- Experience converting early customer engagements into approved references, reusable solution patterns, and repeatable partner sales motions.
- Strong executive communication, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial concepts clearly to both executive and operational audiences.
- Strong discipline in pipeline qualification, forecasting, investment prioritization, and commercial governance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists and establish realistic customer success criteria without overstating technology readiness.
- Experience operating across global markets and coordinating global and regional stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to undertake significant domestic and international travel.
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with quantum computing, networking, security, sensing, space, or related frontier technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with sovereign or regulated markets, public-sector procurement, or international trade compliance for advanced technologies is preferred.
- Remote position with a global scope.
- Significant domestic and international travel associated with customer, partner, and team engagements.
- Base salary range of $182,400–$262,200 USD.
