Test Analyst in Washington, District of Columbia at Educology Solutions

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-managed QA Test Analyst / Senior QA Analyst with strong experience in HealthPAS (QNXT), Medicaid healthcare operations, claims processing, provider and member management, and test management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who can quickly understand business processes, create comprehensive test scenarios, execute test cases, analyze data using SQL, and manage defects through ALM while working independently with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform end-to-end testing within the HealthPAS Administrator (QNXT) application.
• Analyze claim adjudication results and troubleshoot claim processing issues.
• Execute regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Validate and test healthcare claims processing workflows including CMS-1500 Professional Claims, UB-04 Institutional Claims, Inpatient Claims and Outpatient Claims
• Verify claim edits, pricing, adjudication logic, and payment calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid and healthcare processing standards.
• Test provider-facing functionality within the MyHealthPAS Portal (MHP).
• Test provider onboarding, maintenance, and credentialing workflows.
• Validate provider setup through TPA (Third Party Administrator) processes.
• Ensure providers added through TPA are successfully accessible through MHP.
• Validate inbound and outbound interface transactions
• Identify positive, negative, boundary, and end-to-end test scenarios and
• Execute test cases and document results.
• Participate in defect triage and root cause analysis sessions
• Import test cases into ALM, organize test sets and test execution cycles, execute test cases directly from ALM and attach execution evidence and snapshots.
• Generate and extract test execution reports and test results documentation from ALM.
• Utilize SQL to analyze and validate data in lower environments.
• Independently identify data anomalies and testing opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years of experience in delivering multiple testing services to complex projects
• Strong Manual/Functional testing experience; Healthcare, Medicaid testing preferred.
• SQL, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Defect Management
• Ability to write Test Plans & Test Cases; Execute test cases and track Defects.
