Job Description
Gordon Feinblatt is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our Human Resources team in Harbor East. This his is an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting the employee experience and contributing to the continued success of our firm. The ideal candidate will bring strong HR expertise, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. Working closely with employees and leaders across the firm, this position will help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture while ensuring effective and responsive HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and track HR data, metrics, and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records & manage the HRIS.
- Assist with the management of full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, firm policies, and legal industry requirements.
- Serve as an HR point of contact for personnel, providing guidance and addressing routine inquiries.
- Assist with policy development, audits, and HR projects.
- Perform additional HR responsibilities as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a comparable human resources role; law firm experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
- Experience with Paylocity, PerformYard, Attendance on Demand, and AI tools preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/HCM systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), timekeeping and attendance systems, and HR reporting and data analytics.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the firm.
- Strong problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative while contributing effectively as a team player.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field a plus
- HR certification a plus.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually (The base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of candidate-specific factors, including skills, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education, certifications, and market considerations.)
Schedule: This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. This flexible arrangement provides the opportunity to collaborate and connect with colleagues in person while also offering the convenience and focus of remote work.
