Job Purpose:

Maintains direct contact with customers and distributors before, during and after the sale. Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relationships, which can substantially affect product and service revenue. Works with various departments to meet sales goals, quality goals and on time delivery goals. Responsible for customer order processing and maintenance, receives and records customer feedback and coordinates the product return process. Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate field quality data and provides reports to management. Responds to customer inquiries (RMA, status, delivery, etc.). Resolves production scheduling and shipping or invoicing problems; determines validity of warranty claims and works with the quality department to schedule repairs.

Duties:

• Communication with new and existing customers
• Order processing and regular customer updates on product shipment status
• Communication of customer requirements to sales, engineering and manufacturing;
• Customer account data management including shipping, invoicing, export compliance
• Receive, track, qualify and classify leads (web, phone, tradeshow)
• Interface with customers to review product requirements/specifications
• Coordinate customer feedback and complaint process – complaint resolution
• Coordinate RMA process and ensure closure of all returns
• Maintain customer files (orders, shipments, data, etc.)
• Provide KPI metrics for Operations Review
• File coordination

Skills/Qualifications:

College degree, minimum of 3 years customer interface experience in a manufacturing environment required. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Require self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong writing skills a plus. Office environment, sitting, standing & working on computer throughout the workday.
