Registered Nurse in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Main OR in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: PRN
• Work Shift: Days, 7:00am – 3:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like: Our Main OR consists of 23 talented Surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month! The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. We serve as the closest hospital for Polk County and six surrounding counties in our service area.

A typical day includes: Preparing rooms for surgery, transporting patients to the room, completing surgical prep, documenting in the EMR, and cleaning the OR suite post-surgery.

We strive to continuously educate and support each other in the advancement of critical thinking and proficiency in our skill set.

• Practice circulating intra-operative
• Provide moderate sedation
• Circulate for procedures
• Maintain required documentation
• Working as part of a closely-knit team

Qualifications:

Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree

Skills: Clinical expertise, quick decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Licensure/Certification: RN

Physical Requirements: The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
