LEASING SPECIALIST
Faire Harbour Landings is a residential community managed by Landings Management LLC, part of Landings Real Estate Group — a growing private real estate firm with a portfolio spanning Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Florida.
We’re looking for a Leasing Specialist who takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience to every prospective and current resident they work with. In this role, you’ll own the leasing process from first inquiry to signed lease, serve as the face of the community, and play a direct role in driving occupancy and resident satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Conduct property tours and present leasing options to prospective residents, highlighting community features and benefits
- Manage the full application and screening process, including background and credit checks, to ensure qualified resident placement
- Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate leasing records and reports, tracking occupancy rates, lease expirations, and renewals
- Respond promptly to prospective and current resident inquiries and resolve concerns to maintain high satisfaction
- Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident needs
- Develop and support marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones
- Stay informed on local market trends, rental rates, and competitive properties to advise on pricing and leasing strategy
- Adhere to all Fair Housing regulations, leasing laws, and Landings Management LLC policies and procedures
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you connect easily with a wide range of people
Preferred
- Proven experience in leasing, property management, or real estate sales
- Strong knowledge of leasing laws, Fair Housing regulations, and industry best practices
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation or similar professional certification
- Experience in a multi-property management environment
- Familiarity with the Connecticut and Southern New England real estate market
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse resident base
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding leasing targets and occupancy goals
HOW YOU’LL WORK
- Reports directly to the Community Manager
- Works closely with the property management and maintenance teams daily

- Collaborates with the Landings marketing team to support leasing campaigns and community outreach
- Builds and maintains relationships with current and prospective residents, vendors, and community partners
