Senior Technical Recruiter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter based in Canada.

This is a high-impact talent acquisition role focused on identifying and hiring exceptional technical professionals who will shape the future of digital identity and trust. You will own full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technology roles, partnering closely with engineering leaders to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective sourcing and hiring strategies. The role sits at the intersection of people, technology, and business impact, requiring a strong ability to engage top-tier technical talent in competitive markets. You will play a key part in scaling high-performing engineering teams across multiple levels of seniority. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven, with a strong emphasis on candidate experience and hiring quality. You will also contribute to improving recruitment processes, tools, and data-driven decision-making within the talent function. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end technical recruitment processes while building strong partnerships with engineering teams and ensuring a high-quality hiring experience.

  • Own full-cycle technical recruitment for engineering and technology roles across multiple seniority levels
  • Partner closely with engineering managers to define hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Source and engage top technical talent using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and niche tech communities
  • Conduct structured screening and interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Build and maintain strong, proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Track, manage, and report on recruitment metrics to ensure visibility and alignment with stakeholders
  • Optimize the use of Applicant Tracking Systems to ensure data accuracy and efficient workflows
  • Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to improve sourcing strategies, tools, and hiring processes
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, meetups, and industry events to promote employer brand
  • Continuously improve candidate experience and ensure a smooth, professional recruitment journey
Requirements:

This role requires strong experience in technical recruiting, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of hiring for engineering and technology roles in fast-paced environments.

  • 5–8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in high-growth or tech-focused environments
  • Proven track record of hiring software engineers and other technical roles across multiple seniority levels
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes, including technical screening and evaluation
  • Experience partnering with engineering leaders and technical stakeholders on hiring strategy
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other technical talent platforms
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment metrics for reporting and decision-making
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities
  • Curiosity about technology and a proactive mindset toward improving hiring processes and tools
