Red Dot Buildings is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support daily warehouse and material-handling operations at our Athens, Texas facility. In this hands-on role, you will pull materials for customer orders, prepare shipments, receive incoming freight and maintain organized inventory. Materials range from smaller hardware, such as bolts and sealants, to larger building components, including doors, windows, vents and panels.

What You Will Do

• Read shippers and basic project plans to identify and pull the correct materials
• Pick smaller components, including bolts, nuts, screws, caulk and sealants
• Pull larger items, including doors, windows, vents, anchor bolts and project plans
• Prepare materials and orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
• Assist with safely loading materials for retail customers
• Unload, count and receive incoming freight
• Use scales to verify quantities and material weights
• Stock and organize warehouse shelves
• Participate in weekly and monthly inventory counts
• Fabricate cable bracing as needed
• Cut panels and skylights to specified lengths
• Operate forklifts, dolly jacks, two-wheeled dollies, scales and panel cutters
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment requirements
• Assist the Warehouse Lead with additional assignments as needed

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, order-picking or material-handling experience preferred
• Metal-building or construction-material experience is a plus
• Forklift or warehouse-equipment experience preferred
• Ability to read order documents and follow basic plans or prints
• Basic math skills and the ability to count materials accurately
• Strong attention to detail when selecting, counting and organizing inventory
• Dependable attendance and the ability to report to work on time
• Willingness to communicate, assist teammates and follow supervisor instructions
• Ability to work safely around equipment and in areas with normal warehouse noise
• High school diploma or GED preferred
