Shift: M-F 7:30am-3:00pm

Job Description: Performs a variety of patient-related and technical duties in support of operating room.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Current North Carolina NA I certification and in good standing on the NC registry. Transports patients and assists with their transfer, positioning and/or restraining under the supervision of the professional staff.Proficient in basic clerical skills and use of basic office machines. Ability to read and understand instructions and keep records. Incumbent will be required to attain BLS certification within three months of employment. Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competency in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients. Knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer application skills and general knowledge of sterile technique/surgical supplies preferred.
