Position Summary:
TheUniversity of New Mexico Student Health & Counseling clinic (SHAC) isrecruiting for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented ON-CALL Pharmacy Tech towork in the SHAC Pharmacy.
TheStudent Health & Counseling Center is located at the center of campus. The clinicprovides comprehensive primary and mental health services and has a laboratory,x-ray, pharmacy, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, case management, andhealth promotions on site. Other medical services provided are same dayappointments, travel medicine, immunizations, and sports medicine.

Thisposition provides technical and administrative assistance in the day-to-dayactivities of a designated pharmacy operation. Assists in the dispensing ofprescription pharmaceuticals, fills routine orders for non-prescriptionpharmaceuticals, and provides direct customer assistance and routine problemresolution to patients dropping off and picking up prescriptions. Coordinatesthe billing, cash management, and fiscal tracking operations of the pharmacy,and oversee inventory and data management activities in support of pharmacyoperations.
