Position Information
Under the close supervision of the Director of Faculty Development and the Chief Financial and Administrative Office in the School of Medicine (SOM), this position will perform administrative and analytical duties in support of SOM educational and administrative operations. Fellows participate in projects and activities that build and strengthen essential administrative skills. Fellows for the academic year 2025/2026 will rotate six months in a clinical department and six months in an administrative department. Fellows will complete projects during their rotation and will attend monthly didactic sessions. The Administrative Fellowship program seeks masters-prepared individuals who wish to develop their management and leadership skills in a fast-paced medical school environment. Fellows participate in projects and activities that build and strengthen essential administrative skills.Please note: The duration of the position is 12 months. Our anticipated timeline is to accept applications for the 2025-2026 fellowship through January 31, 2025. Conduct interviews and extend offers in Spring 2025 and have an anticipated start date of July 2025.The salary range for the Administrative Fellow is $51,600 - $87,000 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $69,300 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
