Job Description
Front Office Supervisor
Oversee all Front Office activities of the property, resolving issues while maintaining the highest levels of associate and guest satisfaction, and maximizing efficiency and profitability. Must have Marriott experience and strong customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Directs all operations of the front office; trains, schedules and manages all front office employees.
- Assigns duties and shifts to workers and observes performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
- Cooperates with other department heads to ensure coordination of activities.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
- Maintains a high average daily rate. (ADR).
- Ensures guest satisfaction by responding to and resolving guest complaints.
- Participates in weekly meetings and offers ideas to enhance sales efforts.
- Assists in the completion of all required paperwork, ensuring that the reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Interfaces with all departments to troubleshoot any problems.
- Monitors direct competition,
- Fills in at various front office positions when staffing needs dictate.
- Maintains regular contact with the Housekeeping Department to ensure proper room status.
- Ensures that staff is in adherence to uniform/grooming standards at all times.
- Must be able to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays are mandatory.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Answer Guest Voice Complaints
- Assisting in answering GXP Cases, CEC cases. Guest chat. Gss surveys as well.
