Job Summary
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our canned beverage products during the shift. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with the production team to maintain the highest standards.
This is a full-time, 3rd shift position. The schedule is Sunday night through Thursday night from 11pm to 7:30am.
Responsibilities
Inspection and Testing
- Conduct visual inspections and testing of canned beverage products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize testing equipment and tools to measure key product attributes.
Documentation
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and inspections.
- Report any deviations from quality standards and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Communication
- Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding quality control findings.
Sampling and Analysis
- Collect samples from production batches for further analysis.
- Perform sensory evaluations to assess taste, aroma, and overall product quality.
- Perform objective scientific evaluations using lab testing equipment.
Calibration
- Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report any equipment calibration needs.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior quality control experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience, food & beverage experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of quality control procedures and testing methods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
