Job Description

Description:

Be the quality behind what moves the industry

At Belt Power LLC, quality isn’t just a checkpoint—it’s part of who we are. As a leader in conveyor belting and material handling solutions, we help keep manufacturing and processing operations moving efficiently across the country. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a detail-driven Quality Control Technician who takes pride in precision and wants to make a visible impact every day.

If you enjoy working hands-on in a manufacturing environment, spotting opportunities for improvement, and being the final stamp of approval before products go out the door—we want to meet you.

What you'll do

As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll play a critical role throughout the fabrication and inspection process by:

  • Inspecting and testing materials, products, and equipment at multiple stages of production
  • Ensuring production methods meet internal standards and industry requirements
  • Monitoring fabrication processes and recommending adjustments when needed
  • Verifying, measuring, and testing equipment is properly set up and functioning
  • Identifying inconsistencies or defects—and digging into the root cause
  • Documenting findings and preparing clear, accurate reports for leadership
  • Supporting customer quality concerns and collaborating with suppliers and sales teams
  • Helping maintain and improve quality control systems
  • Following all safety rules and wearing the required PPE at all times
  • Representing Belt Power with professionalism and integrity on the shop floor and beyond
Requirements:

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or prior quality control experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Solid math, computer, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly—both written and verbal
  • A proactive mindset and desire to continuously learn and improve

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Hands-on work requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud environments typical of a fabrication shop
  • Work may take place in the office, shop, and occasionally at customer sites
  • Over time, overnight travel or weekend work may be required at times
