Financial Coordinator

  • JOB RELATIONSHIPS
    • Responsible to Office Administrator and the Revenue Cycle Administrator.
  • DEFINITION OF POSITION
    • The Financial Coordinator supports the financial operations of the practice by performing revenue cycle duties which may include medical billing or coding. This position ensures accurate claim submission, efficient payment posting, compliant coding, and timely resolution of patient and insurance balances. The ideal candidate is analytical, thorough, and experienced in healthcare financial processes.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional
      • High School graduate or equivalent required.
      • Computer and keyboard skills required; type 30 wpm
      • Healthcare reimbursement position that would indicate knowledge of technical insurance terms is desirable.
      • Three years previous work experience in registration; admissions, insurance billing or healthcare field is desirable.
      • Medical Terminology
      • Excellent Customer Service experience
