Senior Specialist, Financial Aid Processing at St. Louis Community College (MO) – Bridgeton, Missouri

The Senior Specialist, Financial Aid Processing is responsible for processing all Federal, state, and institutional financial aid for the District, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborating with Financial Aid Managers and the Director to maintain accurate and timely aid processing.

• Responsible for processing all Federal, state, and institutional aid for the District
• Reviews and processes Federal Pell Grants, Supplemental Opportunity Grants, and Federal Direct Student Loans
• Assists in the completion of Verification workshops
• Works closely with students to review their financial aid status and provide necessary guidance
• Certifies and processes student aid applications
• Reviews all documentation related to student aid to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Works with other departments to coordinate financial aid efforts and resolve any issues
• Additional duties as assigned

• Associate degree in a related field with 3 - 5 years of experience
• Verification certification or other relevant licensing or certification may be required
