UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness system in Central Massachusetts, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Division of Cardiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing, collaborative cardiology team in a 100% outpatient setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

About the Opportunity

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will practice in a modern ambulatory setting, caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of cardiologists and APP colleagues in an environment that prioritizes collaboration, continuity of care, and clinical excellence.

This role offers the chance to build strong patient relationships while expanding your expertise in general cardiology within a supportive academic health system.

Key Highlights
  • 100% Outpatient Practice: 4-day clinical workweek with no weekends or holidays
  • Patient Care Focus: Manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal follow-up
  • Team-Based Care: Collaborate closely with cardiologists, APPs, and multidisciplinary specialists across the system
  • Academic Environment: Practice within a leading academic medical center with access to subspecialty expertise and resources
  • Technology: Epic electronic medical record system


Qualifications

Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current NP or PA certification
  • Eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:
  • 3–5 years of cardiology experience in an outpatient setting
