Facilities Supervisor II
(REMOTE)
This role is remote but requires on-site support across multiple clinic locations throughout Southern California. Candidates must reside within the region and be able to travel as needed to support operational needs across sites.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Facilities Supervisor II will be responsible for the physical building maintenance of the PA medical office locations across the California / Arizona market. The primary role of this position is to manage and oversee locations in their respective region, including merged and acquired offices. General oversite would include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, general hardware, and repairs. Individual will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and implementing preventive maintenance as established by company procedures and guidelines. This position will be working directly with PA’s selected third-party facility management services provider.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure locations in the respective region(s) are maintained in a safe, secure, and clean environment. Schedules and assigns work responsibility to maintenance staff to meet business demands. Verifies and ensures completion of tasks.
- Oversees and supervises the regional third-party facility services operations in the respective region to also include other acquired entities in other states. This position will oversee the work ticket requests being generated and ensure all follow-up and completion is done at a specific time by ensuring the vendor is following the agreed to service level agreement.
- This position is also involved in the integration of our merger & acquisition processes. Overseeing and recommending core PA standards to be integrated into the newly integrated sites. Also, to assist in the oversight and review of standardization projects of acquired locations.
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors functions of service contractors / vendors to assess required repairs and maintenance. Oversees contractor / vendor progress and ensures completion of repairs and maintenance projects.
- Reviews and approves (1) purchase orders, quotes/estimates, and proposals from third party vendors in reference to repairs and maintenance projects as well as (2) parts and supplies purchased from facilities technicians.
- Assist the Facilities Manager as required in all new construction, renovations and relocations of medical offices ensuring installations are completed per PA facilities standards and protocols.
- Supports the facilities operations for acquired and merged practices within Florida and other states such as but not limited to Texas & California.
- This role will also assist in reviewing and making facility-related assessments of potential acquisition targets (pre-close) and making recommendations for PA standards changes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees facilities and is the liaison for merged and acquired practices and 3rd party vendors within a specific territory in Texas and other states as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma/ GED or equivalent required.
- Associate degree, technical trade license or related industry certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience required in maintenance/facilities required.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
- Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period, a driver’s license must be active and valid.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be proficient and have working knowledge of Microsoft office applications such Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (orally & written) with all levels of staff and management with strong customer service interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of mobile technology and applications.
- Working knowledge and understanding of CMMS system (computerized maintenance management system).
- Ability to assess completion of maintenance work.
- Skill and knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to make independent judgement.
- General finance and accounting knowledge including budgeting activities.
- General knowledge and experience in planning, prioritizing, and organizing a complex workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
- Ability to direct the work of others.

The expected base hourly range for this position, located in Orange County, CA, is $32.00 to $40.00. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
