Field Service – Welder Technician #2 (full-time):

General Summary

Daily Thermetrics is seeking field service technicians to join our rapidly growing field team. This position is responsible for supporting onsite installations of Daily Thermetrics thermometry products in refinery and chemical plant facilities. While on projects this person would be managed by a Daily Thermetrics Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor will assign the tasks for each day to this person.

Responsibilities:

• Lead thermometry installations at work sites.
• Represent Daily Thermetrics as the primary site contact for the project.
• Manage the project day-to-day activities, coordinate with other contractors, maintain clear communication and documentation with all parties involved.
• TIG Welding thermometry product lines in furnaces, reactors, etc.
• Operate grinding wheels, basic hand tools, electrical wiring, rigging, and general labor.
• Work from heights and confined spaces.
• Follow safety instructions.
• Maintain field paperwork.
• Understand technical drawings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Active Credentials:

• Driver’s License.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
• Compliant with background checks and drug tests (DISA).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Skills to be Successful in this Position:

• Expert understanding of Temperature Instrumentation
  1. heater tubeskin thermocouples, reactor multipoint temperature sensors, general thermocouples, general thermowells, etc.
• Experience TIG Welding thermometry products in furnaces and reactors.
• Clear Communicator, adaptable, eager learner, great teamwork, and positive attitude
