Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor provides excellent resident service and ensures tickets are taken care of promptly, common areas are in pristine condition, and make readies are completed promptly and correctly. Resident satisfaction is more important than ever and the Maintenance Supervisor is crucial to that mission. We are seeking a maintenance supervisor for our property, 2121 Ella in the Heights.
Job Description:
-Addresses maintenance tickets with 48 hours.
-Prepares all market-ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product to our residents.
-Is knowledgeable in (but not limited to) plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, life safety, pools, and general carpentry.
-Maintains grounds, pools/ hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean, free of trash, debris, and other safety issues.
-Performs on-call emergency tickets as required.
-Provides excellent communication with community manager on budgets, supplies, damages, or life safety issues.
-Performs preventative maintenance programs.
-Is knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
-Knowledgeable in scheduling.
-Completes required training programs, as-needed.
Qualifications:
-Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and work on-call.
-Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties.
-Must possess a valid Driver's License.
-CPO/EPA
-High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
-3+ years of related experience
