About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience in transaction monitoring, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), regulatory reporting, stakeholder engagement, and functional business analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in eliciting requirements, asking the right questions, analysing transactional datasets, identifying data gaps, documenting business processes, and communicating effectively between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business requirements, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of transaction monitoring data to identify missing or incomplete data.
- Ensure compliance with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) regulations by validating transactional datasets and identifying potential risks
- Ask the right questions to uncover business needs and identify potential risks or inefficiencies
- Work closely with both business and technical teams to validate issues and support resolution.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Assist in regulatory reporting (e.g., NROD) and ensure reports meet compliance standards.
- Document business processes, workflows, and system interactions to ensure clear understanding across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable insights from transactional datasets and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Work on business process mapping, identifying improvement areas, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with compliance teams to align business processes with regulatory standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge in transaction monitoring, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), and regulatory reporting.
- Experience working with transactional datasets, identifying missing or incomplete data.
- Strong functional business analysis skills, with the ability to elicit and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across business, compliance, and technical teams.
- Strong ability to ask the right questions and uncover critical insights from stakeholders.
- Experience in documenting business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., NROD).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with business process mapping and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices and regulatory data requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring compliance and process integrity
