As Floor Manager at our Miranda store, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the daily rhythm of the store—ensuring every customer interaction is warm, helpful, and memorable, whether it’s in person, over the phone, or online. You’ll be the heartbeat of the store, guiding the team with care and confidence, and making sure every customer interaction is of the highest quality.

Weekend availability is essential for this role. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Store Operations & Sales Leadership

  • Oversee daily store activities to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service

  • Lead by example with confident, customer-led selling across all channels: in-store, phone, email, click & collect, and online order fulfilment

  • Ensure all customers are served promptly and warmly

  • Complete the Daily Planning Template to guide team priorities and ensure coverage

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming store environment

  • Daily timesheet approval

  • Be responsible for daily open and closure procedures

  • Assist with weekly banking and general cash management

Team Leadership & Customer Experience

  • Provide balanced leadership – caring yet firm - to the store team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency and warmth

  • Confidently handle customer service escalations with empathy and professionalism

  • Support and mentor team members to develop product knowledge and sales techniques

  • Lead training, tasks and projects as assigned by the Store Operations Manager

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the Store Operations Manager to align on goals, feedback, and store performance

  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure daily priorities and customer needs are met

  • Contribute insights and feedback to improve store operations and customer experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven retail experience, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Confident selling skills and a passion for helping customers. Experience using a consultative selling method would be considered an advantage.

  • Warm, clear communication style with a collaborative mindset

  • Ability to lead with care, clarity, and consistency

  • Confident using Point of Sale and other supporting retail systems/technology

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
