Live events are back, and we are busier than ever! Due to massive growth, we are looking to add an HR Generalist to our Corporate People & Culture team. This will be an integral part of the People & Culture department, providing support for employee onboarding, unemployment filings, benefits administration, and more. The Generalist will make an impact on the company through daily human resource activities, project execution, and implementation of HR initiatives and programs in a way that ensures departmental and organizational goals are accomplished.
You will report directly to the VP of People & Culture and be based out of Nth Degree’s corporate office in Duluth GA. We do function in a hybrid capacity; typically 2-3 days in the office.
Salary is $65,000-75,000
What You’ll Do:
- Support the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Process promotions, separations, and other job changes.
- Help manage the human resource information systems (HRIS) by maintaining employee files, updating employment status, supporting the performance review process, and handling any disciplinary documentation, as needed.
- Participate in the implementation of new systems as they are identified
- Complete requests for unemployment claim information.
- Ensure the maintenance of compliant employee records and files; monitor programs and processes for compliance.
- Effectively collaborate with other departments to ensure managers and employees receive the expected level of customer service.
- Partner with HR Business Partners during Open Enrollment to provide benefits enrollment information and assist employees with questions.
- Support and execute activities related to organizational changes, including mergers and acquisitions.
- As needed, assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, working with hiring managers, creating offer letters, and processing background checks.
- Participate in research and special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years’ general HR experience and working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including, but not limited to, employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, federal and state employment laws; multistate experience preferred; benefits administration experience required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency; HRIS administration experience; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation; proactive approach to work, exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Experience supporting initiatives and activities associated with organizational growth/restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Outstanding judgment and decision-making abilities; ability to solve problems with a tactful and resourceful approach.
- Solid project management skills and attention to detail; established time management skills with the ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly-changing environment and manage competing priorities.
- High level of integrity and adherence to maintaining confidentiality.
