Job Description

VP, Enterprise Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Enterprise Sales based in the United States.

The VP, Enterprise Sales will lead and scale a high-performing North American enterprise sales organization focused on new-logo acquisition and strategic account expansion. This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct influence on revenue growth, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise customer relationships. The successful leader will modernize sales processes, strengthen consultative and platform-led selling, and elevate execution across complex enterprise opportunities. You will coach experienced sales and account management teams while building a culture centered on accountability, customer value, and measurable results. The role also offers significant opportunity to strengthen channel partnerships across VARs, MSSPs, distributors, and technology alliances. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Renewals, you will help shape a coordinated enterprise growth strategy. This is an opportunity to transform an established sales organization and establish a world-class enterprise selling model at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the North American enterprise revenue strategy, driving new-logo acquisition, strategic account growth, and expansion across the largest and most complex prospects and customers.
  • Coach, mentor, develop, and retain enterprise sales and account management leaders while establishing a high-performance, consultative, solution-selling culture.
  • Modernize sales processes, account segmentation, deal-desk practices, sales playbooks, and operating rhythms to improve execution, customer engagement, and win rates.
  • Transition the organization toward platform-led and consultative selling, partnering with Product teams to develop differentiated sales motions for priority enterprise industries and customer workflows.
  • Build and scale a channel-inclusive enterprise go-to-market strategy across VARs, MSSPs, distributors, resellers, and technology alliance partners, including joint account planning, deal registration, and co-selling.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Renewals teams to strengthen retention and expansion, identify whitespace opportunities, reduce churn, and improve net retention through multi-year contracts, early renewal engagement, and pricing guardrails.
  • Establish rigorous pipeline management, forecasting discipline, KPI tracking, quota management, and operational processes that improve revenue predictability and seller effectiveness.
  • Leverage data, automation, and AI-powered tools to increase sales velocity, improve pipeline visibility, and strengthen win rates while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Represent enterprise sales in executive leadership forums, strategic planning sessions, and pipeline reviews, providing clear visibility into performance, opportunities, risks, and investment priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel leadership to create a seamless enterprise customer experience and coordinated go-to-market strategy.
  • Monitor competitive, market, and customer trends and translate insights into focused sales strategies and execution priorities.
  • Develop the organizational structure, talent strategy, sales compensation approaches, and operating standards required to support continued growth at scale.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive revenue-growth strategies aligned with business objectives and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Significant sales leadership experience within cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or a closely related technology environment, ideally selling security, risk, compliance, or other complex solutions to enterprise buyers.
  • Experience leading a scaled, revenue-focused SaaS sales organization, ideally within a business generating $100M+ in revenue and undergoing significant growth or organizational scaling.
  • Deep understanding of subscription-based, recurring-revenue SaaS models and platform selling across multiple products or solution areas.
  • Demonstrated success developing enterprise go-to-market motions involving VARs, resellers, MSSPs, distributors, and technology partners, including co-selling and joint account planning.
  • Proven ability to improve customer retention and expansion while reducing downsell and churn through multi-year agreements, proactive renewal strategies, pricing discipline, and commercial guardrails.
  • Strong data-driven leadership capabilities, including KPI development, quota and budget setting, sales compensation planning, pipeline analytics, and seller-performance measurement.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated success hiring, mentoring, developing, and retaining high-performing sales leaders and building accountable, results-oriented teams.
  • Experience implementing and continuously improving sales processes, systems, operating rhythms, and other mechanisms that drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Product organizations to develop verticalized sales strategies grounded in industry-specific needs and customer workflows.
  • Strong strategic judgment and the ability to balance long-term organizational transformation with immediate revenue objectives.
  • Comfortable operating in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales environments involving procurement, security reviews, executive buyers, and extended sales cycles.
Benefits:
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $360,000–$550,000, with final compensation determined by role, level, location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
  • Eligibility for additional incentive plans in accordance with applicable company policies and local regulations.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits package.
  • Opportunity to lead a strategically important North American enterprise sales organization with significant influence over revenue growth.
  • Hybrid work opportunity with the Lexington, Massachusetts office preferred; remote opportunities are also available in select U.S. locations, including Illinois, New York, Texas, and Georgia.
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on respect, accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to building a diverse and welcoming environment.
  • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the interview process for candidates who require them.
