Job Description

Director, Product Management

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Management in Canada.

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of product strategy, data intelligence, and AI transformation, shaping how enterprise data becomes a core driver of decision-making and customer value. You will lead a centralized product organization responsible for unifying fragmented data sources into a coherent, AI-ready intelligence layer that powers both internal operations and customer-facing innovation. Operating in a fast-evolving SaaS and platform environment, you will define the long-term data vision while ensuring execution across architecture, governance, and product delivery. This role requires strong collaboration with GTM, engineering, and executive stakeholders to translate data into monetizable insights and measurable business outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-native product development practices and enabling scalable, compliant, and high-performance data systems. This is a high-impact leadership position where your decisions directly influence platform intelligence, operational efficiency, and enterprise growth.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will define and execute the enterprise data product strategy while leading the transformation toward a unified, AI-enabled data ecosystem that supports both product innovation and business decision-making.

  • Own the enterprise data product roadmap, including the Core Data Layer strategy and long-term architecture for unified, intelligent data systems.
  • Lead the consolidation and normalization of fragmented data sources into a semantic, AI-ready intelligence layer for cross-functional and executive use.
  • Partner with GTM and business leaders to translate data into actionable insights that improve customer outcomes, account growth, and revenue performance.
  • Drive the evolution toward an AI-native product development lifecycle, embedding automation and intelligent workflows into data product delivery.
  • Oversee enterprise observability strategy, ensuring visibility into system performance, data quality, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, including data privacy, PII protection, and secure-by-design principles across all data assets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and executive teams to ensure data initiatives align with financial, operational, and strategic business goals.
Requirements

This role requires deep experience in data-driven product leadership, strong technical fluency in modern data architectures, and the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in complex SaaS environments.

  • 10+ years of product management or platform leadership experience in SaaS, data platforms, or enterprise software environments.
  • Proven experience leading data-intensive products such as analytics platforms, observability systems, or large-scale data ecosystems.
  • Strong background in enterprise data systems including big data, data warehousing, and real-time streaming architectures.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI and data technologies such as vector databases (e.g., pgVector), semantic data models, and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across product, engineering, and GTM functions.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in P&L impact, revenue drivers, product adoption metrics, and long-range strategic planning.
  • Experience operating in AI-enabled or rapidly evolving product environments with a strong ability to drive organizational change.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Benefits
  • Competitive healthcare coverage and wellness programs
  • Flexible time-off policies (“take when you need it” approach)
  • Comprehensive parental leave support
  • Recognition and performance reward programs
  • Strong focus on learning, development, and AI-enabled innovation
  • Inclusive, global work environment
  • Opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI and data transformation initiatives
  • Support for work-life balance and employee well-being
